To celebrate its 110th anniversary, the project to reimagine the Galeries Lafayette cupola has revived this Art Nouveau landmark. Completed in spring 2021, the restoration preserved the original stained-glass windows while integrating modern technologies, enhancing both its brilliance and functionality.

Jacques Grüber He studied in Nancy, then, from 1889 onwards, trained in Paris at the École des Arts Décoratifs and the École des Beaux-Arts, where he frequented the studio of painter Gustave Moreau. As a stained-glass master, he created the stained-glass windows.
Louis Majorelle born in Toul on , was a French cabinetmaker and decorator of the Art Nouveau movement of the Nancy School, and was responsible for the ironwork on the cupola.
